Downes Grounds is a rebranding packaging project for the Kona coffee brand, Downes Grounds. A simple, clean typeface was chosen to give the brand a more modern appearance that compliments the graphics inspired by the plants and volcano that come from Kona and are an important part of the culture. A color palette was chosen that captures the beautiful gradient of theHawaiian sunset blended together with a beautiful blue reminiscent of the Hawaiian ocean.
